Local SF Fashion: Spotted Downtown!
If you didn't spend your weekend outside, you definitely missed out on some gorgeous San Franciscan weather! I know I enjoyed it these past couple of days while spotting some awesome street fashion in Union Square, the Autumn Moon Festival in Chinatown, and along Market Street in Downtown SF.
Okay, so I want her jacket, her backpack, her SHOES, and well basically her whole outfit. Photographed above is Kea, in her own quirky yet very trendy, individual style that I wish I could pull off as effortlessly as her! I love how she pieced together a variety of prints with a casual street vibe, and added some edgy accent pieces. It's seriously so cool! And Kea even transformed an old Korean school uniform skirt into something totally wearable. Freaking. Awesome.
Vintage Denim Jacket: Levi Strauss, Black "Pocket Down Ultra-Light" Jacket: Uniqlo, Black "Heat Tech" T-Shirt: Uniqlo, DIY Cut/Ripped Korean School Uniform Skirt: gifted by her cousin in Korea, Grey Polka-Dot Tights: Bought in Japan, Silver Studded "Gil Platform Mary Janes": Jeffrey Campbell, Black/Metal Rimmed Glasses: Bought in Korea, Black Studded Backpack: Algonquins (Japan).
Another fashion-forward gal that caught my eye over the weekend was Janique, and it came to no surprised when I found out she was studying fashion at the Academy of Art! She creatively turned a way-too-big button up into a super cute leopard printed dress, and paired it with some layered pieces to finish off a great fall look!
Black Leather Jacket: Jeremys, Oversized Leopard Print Button-Up: thrifted, Black Garter Skirt: Betsey Johnson, Black Sheer Tights: Dollhouse Bettie, Black Suede "Rumble" Booties: Jeffrey Campbell, Black Circle Scarf: thrifted, Black Medium Sized Purse: thrifted, Earring and Necklace: H&M.
Next, I found the lovely Marcela from Chile at the Autumn Moon Festival in Chinatown (which, by the way, I had no clue was happening until I found myself blocked by a sea of vendors and pedestrians while trying to walk up Kearny St. to get to North Beach). But I'm glad my friend and I decided to walk that way, or else I would have never known it existed! ANYWAYS, Marcela's comfortable yet stylish outfit is essential for those ladies who love to walk around the city. And I adore the gold details in her top!
Light Brown Button-Up: Zara, Basic Beige Cami: Zara, Black High-Waisted Harem Trousers: Urban Outfitters, Beige "Petty" Booties: Sam Edelman, Black "Classic Q - Percy" Cross-Body Bag: Marc Jacobs, "RB3447" Round Sunglasses: Ray-Ban.
And finally, here, Cindy gives us another example of a great casual outfit that is perfect for a weekend out in the city. It's a perfect blend of fall, neutral colors with every girl's staple black skinny jeans - I actually own the same exact pair! To finish off her look, she has on a few handmade jewelry pieces from her talented friend, Malena (check out her etsy store, MalenaJewels, here!).
Gold-Yellow Button Up: Forever 21, Black "BDG Mid-Rise Cigarette" Skinny Jeans: Urban Outfitters, Vintage Tan Cross-Body Bag: Bought in Korea, Brown Woven Leather Flats: Urban Outfitters, Jewelry: MalenaJewels.
