Local SF Fashion: Indie Mart @ Speakeasy Brewery
Over the weekend, the VB team had a blast at the Holiday Indie Mart vintage fair held at Speakeasy Brewery. It was definitely a busy day packed with SF locals looking to buy some unique holiday gifts (for their loved ones OR themselves =] ) Throughout the day, I had the chance to stop a couple good lookin' shoppers as they browsed our VB booth!
Fashion stylist and wardrobe consultant, Colton Dixon Winger (www.ShewearsHewears.com) was the first person who caught my eye. I loved the use of layering, and how casual, yet well put together his look was. And us ladies at Violet Boutique definitely appreciate it when a man knows how to dress! It was no surprise when I learned that Colton also works in the fashion industry. Guys - take note!
Grey 'Phillips' Blazer: Rag & Bone, Heather Charcoal 'Eli Shawl Collar' Cardigan: Triple Five Soul, Plaid Printed Tee: Theyskens Theory, 'Black Resin' Slim Fit Skinny Jeans: Rag & Bone, Burgundy Suede Boots: Jon Fluevog, Vintage Cross-Body Handbag
(Awesome vintage finds from the Violet Boutique booth!)
Another fashionable shopper that caught my eye was graphic designer & illustrator, Cat Oshiro (www.catoshiro.com). I loved her fall fusion of knits, prints, and vivid color. Her outfit is a great example of how to successfully rock a bold statement piece without overdoing your look - Cat kept it relatively neutral in color for her clothing, opting for various fabrics and prints rather than color. This allowed her awesome yellow purse to stand out, and complete the whole look!
'Heavy Gauge Dolman Sleeve' Cardigan: Uniqlo, Leopard Printed Blouse: Old Navy, Black 'Super Stretch' Skinny Jeans: American Eagle, Knitted Tan Infinity Scarf: Made by her mother, Tan Leather 'Candence' Boots: Steve Madden, Canary Yellow 'Cupid' Handbag: Rebecca Minkoff, Vintage Jewelry: Thrifted.

And to wrap up our day at Indie Mart, we have Miss Adela Jung with an awesome dress that's perfect for a day out on the town. The cut on the dress is so unique, and it completely transforms a plain ol' maxi dress into an edgy fashion piece!
